The Surprising Facts of Organic Food

It’s surprising how little most of us know about our food—and it’s not because none of us are interested in staying informed. After all, it’s our food, our health, and our lives we’re dealing with here. But sometimes the information we need to make smart choices about our food and to start living healthier lives isn’t always so easy to find.

Did you know that more than 400 chemical pesticides are routinely used in conventional farming today? That’s just one out of the thousands of surprising stats out there about conventional food production and one of the many reasons more and more people are turning to organic products every day.

To help us stay informed so that we can stay healthy, Well.org has put together a helpful infographic about the difference that choosing organic over conventional eating habits can make on our plates, for our planet, for our wallets and for our bodies.

    This is an excellent inforgraphic!

Organic foods taste better and are my preference.

I see cattle grazing in my neck of the woods and they are not fat, they are very lean. The natural way to raise cattle is always the best way.

    Infographis is informative!

    Take care,

I’m amazed at the calorie difference between grass and corn fed beef. Personally I much prefer the former, which is more usual in the UK.
